Mihir’s Dilemma
Mihir receives a strange legal notice regarding a property in Gujarat. He realizes that someone is trying to freeze the family’s bank accounts. He tries to hide this from the elders to avoid causing panic, but Tulsi catches him looking stressed. In a tender scene, Tulsi tells Mihir that a “Sanjha Chulha” (shared kitchen) only works if worries are shared too. Mihir decides to trust Tulsi with the information, marking the first time they act as equal partners in a crisis.
The Confrontation
The climax of the episode occurs when Pratap finally walks into the house during the evening Aarti. The older generation, including Savita, is shocked into silence. Pratap produces a document claiming that the mansion they are living in was partially funded by his father’s money. He demands a room in the house and a seat on the board of directors. While the elders are too stunned to speak, Tulsi steps forward and asks for the “original” registration papers, sensing that Pratap’s documents might be sophisticated forgeries.
