Back at the house, Swayambhu is repairing a loose floorboard in their bedroom when he spots a glint of light from a decorative wall clock. He realizes it’s a high-definition spy camera. Instead of removing it, he signals Jagadhatri when she returns home. They realize they have been under constant surveillance. Jagadhatri uses this to her advantage: she starts a “fake conversation” about a secret location where she has hidden “incriminating evidence” against the family, hoping to bait the person watching them.
Mehendi’s Desperation
Mehendi is seen acting highly suspicious throughout the episode. She repeatedly tries to enter Jagadhatri’s room under the pretext of looking for a lost earring. When she overhears the fake conversation about the hidden evidence, she immediately makes a phone call to an unknown number, whispering, “The girl knows too much. We need to clear the locker before she reaches it.” However, Jagadhatri is watching Mehendi’s every move through a counter-surveillance device.
The Locker Room Confrontation
The climax occurs at midnight in the family’s private bank vault. A hooded figure enters the vault and begins Shredding documents. Jagadhatri and Swayambhu burst in, but the figure manages to throw a smoke grenade and escape through a ventilation duct. While they lose the suspect, Jagadhatri finds a half-burnt piece of paper—a bank transfer receipt made out to a shell company in Singapore, signed with a initials that match Koushiki’s husband.
